In Reply To JWT or ASHSpec? Which is the better ECU? posted by AsaHerring on August 17, 2011 at 09:46 PM

Message necessarily net you the best outcome either...

Search would give you wide variety of results if you typed in key words related to your core question...

IMO, JWT is tried an true an "safe" for mass production for most any Z configuration out there... As for the AshSpec, IMO since he is one of the leading "active" tuners/innovators in the Z world, I would venture to say his tunes may be a bit more refined with the current mods available now for Z's, vs back when JWT was pretty much the only option out there decades ago...before we had all the mod options & knowledge of tuning Z ecu's like in modern times...

Everyone on tt.net will have their own preferences,etc... But the most "current tuners who are active in the Z world, is who I would go with... So in your case, depending on when those tunes were produced, all things equal to answer your question, (though semi-loaded), the Ash ECU "MAY" provide a better result given how active he stays in the community with more refined tunes over time...

Just my .02
